Florence, Tuscany

I spent just a night in Florence, aiming for quieter areas further South. It’s a beautiful, if tourist-laden, city. Slightly bittersweet for me, because I came as a teenager and know I was a grumpy one, which is a pity. If only I’d taken advantage of being taken to beautiful places then.

Still, a walk West along the river, and back East to the Ponte Vecchio showed me the sights, with me in a positive vein of mind.
